Kitchen Helper
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Prepare food for cooking by washing, cutting, peeling, mixing and marinating ingredients
· Clean and sanitize utensils, kitchen equipment, cupboards, storage and dining areas
· Clean floors and remove kitchen garbage and trash in appropriate containers
· Maintain workspace organized and follow food safety procedure
· Assist with proper stocking, storage, and inventory
· Keep a professional, respectful demeanour with kitchen staff
· Other relevant duties as assigned
Requirements:
· Physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods of time
· Able to work under pressure and handle numerous tasks at once
· Team player, able to work in close conditions with several other people
· Positive attitude and passion for food service
· Able to work flexible shifts including evenings, nights, and weekend
· Experience is an asset
