Dental Laboratory Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in fabricating and producing quality dental orthodontic appliances
• Optimizes laboratory production by organizing and prioritizing daily work and following instructions from dental practices
• Wax, process and finish removable dental appliances
• Mounts articulated models on an articulator and records bite relations as indicated
• Operate and maintain instruments, equipment and inventory
• Maintains records relative to work performed
Qualifications:
• 2+ years’ experience in commercial dental laboratory
• Completion of secondary school
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to details
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Hand-eye co-ordination and manual dexterity

Position Type:
Permanent, Full-Time – 40 hours per week
Wage – $26.00 per hour

o If you are required to use your own automobile for Shaw Group business, you will be reimbursed at an established rate that enables you to recover gas and maintenance expenses for the number of kilometers traveled for that business. The rate is adjusted from time to time based on changes in the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) deductible limits and industry surveys. The Shaw Group is not responsible for insurance coverage when you are using your personal car for company business.
o Professional development fee (including course fee, exam fee, annual fee) will be reimbursed
