Cabinetmaker
YOUR ROLES WILL INCLUDE:
· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specification
· Utilize woods and laminates to build custom cabinets and woodworks
· Operate woodworking machines and tools
· Repair and style cabinets and related products
· Trim, assemble and join wood and other materials
· Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer/polish to finished products
· Ensure the standards of design and quality are met
· Maintain a safe and clean working environment
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
· 1+ years’ experience in custom cabinetmaking
· Completion of secondary school
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints
· Ability to operate woodworking machines and tools
· Ability to handle weight up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
· Ability to work individually with a minimal supervision
· Strong interpersonal skills to work in a team
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Highly organized and able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with a tight deadline
WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Some work activities will occur after normal business hours i.e. evenings and weekends
