ABOUT POSITION
Sawicki is looking for a Wooden Panel Installer for a full-time, permanent position. The ideal candidate will have experience in this position or one with closely related duties. Some experience working with wood would be an asset. They should also be a detail-oriented team player who reflects the company’s high standards of customer focus.
Main Duties
· Install, repair and service prefabricated wooden panels to form kitchen cupboards, bathroom vanities using hand and power tools
· Be familiar with the operation of hand and power tools, including but not limited to hammers, drills, chainsaws, skill saws, etc.
· Read blueprints and work order specifications to determine layout and installation of wooden panels
· Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations
· Measure and cut panel sections to fit the required dimensions
· Be able to work with little to no supervision
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
· Secondary school diploma
· Minimum 6 months of experience in wooden panel installation
BENEFITS AND SALARY
· Full-time, permanent position
· $24.00 per hour for 30-40 hours of work per week
· Overtime pay applies after 44 hours of work per week
· Head office: 3 Nagel Rd, North York, ON M3M 1X7
· Work location: customers’ sites around the GTA and Ontario
