ABOUT POSITION
• Install, assemble and set up various types of water treatment equipment which mainly include water softeners but also might be reverse osmosis, filtration and disinfection systems
• Read and interpret blueprints and sketches to address requirements, check overall performance according to drawings and instructions
• Connect pipes, valves and electrical components as stated by specifications and codes, recalibrate water softeners
• Inspect water softening systems for signs of damage or worn-out parts in order to recommend repair or replacement
• Clean water softening systems of accumulated minerals or any other buildup
• Collect payment and required signatures at the time of equipment installation or service
• Complete daily paperwork in a legible manner
• Other duties as assigned
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Secondary school diploma
• Minimum 6 months of experience in water softener installation and repair
BENEFITS AND SALARY
• Permanent, full-time position
• $24.00 per hour for 30-40 hours of work per week
• Overtime pay applies after 44 hours of work per week
