We pride ourselves on efficiency, safety, and exceptional service. We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to support our operations team.
Job Duties
The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for:
· Supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse workers, including shipping, receiving, order picking, packing, and inventory control.
· Planning, organizing, and assigning daily workload to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
· Monitoring and improving warehouse processes to maximize efficiency and workflow.
· Training new and existing staff on warehouse procedures, equipment use, and safety protocols.
· Ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations and company policies.
· Overseeing the inspection, handling, and storage of goods to prevent damage or spoilage.
· Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with regular stock counts.
· Preparing reports on inventory levels, staff performance, equipment needs, and production summaries.
· Coordinating shipments with carriers and logistics partners as needed.
· Identifying operational issues and implementing corrective actions.
Education Requirements
· Completion of secondary school is required.
· Post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is an asset.
· Additional relevant training or certifications (e.g., WHMIS, forklift certification) is considered an advantage.
Experience & Other Requirements
· Minimum 2 or more years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment, including some supervisory or lead-hand duties.
· Strong communication and leadership skills.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks as needed.
· Proficiency with inventory systems, scanners, and basic computer applications is an asset.
