Responsibilities
Tasks
• Duties entail very early and late pickup and delivery times, employee is on the road an extreme amount of time
• Drives a Company vehicle in a safe, courteous and responsible manner avoiding traffic violations and accident
• Mountain driving expertise
• Must follow DOT procedures Picks up vehicles at auction or private party, loads onto Company truck at the various locations
• Secures vehicles down and verifies the condition of the truck and the load, gets paperwork associated with the vehicle
• Leaves Plant with orders where to pick up vehicles, drives to the pick destination and verifies vehicles obtains signature at the pickup location confirming the accuracy of Vehicles shown on the order and those received and signs off on the integrity of what was loaded at the location
• Works carefully in such a manner as to prevent injury to yourself or damage to vehicles Complies with established Company policies and procedures
• Provide exceptional customer service to our members in need of emergency mechanical help including
• Other tasks as assigned by the manager in support of daily auction
• Perform brake adjustments
• Perform emergency roadside repairs
• Subject to DOT Procedures – driver logs, unexpired medical card
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Ensures safe delivery of vehicles by retrieving and delivering to and from customers
