J & D Corner Store is seeking Sales Supervisors – Retail!

Located at 212 Railway Avenue, Grandview, Manitoba. This position is a retail business, in a rural and often considered remote location and applicant must be willing to relocate. This position will be 30 hours minimum, per week, full-time permanent at $21.50 per hour. This position will is to start as soon as possible. There are two vacancies. Applicant will have the ability to communicate in basic English.  In terms of education the applicant should have minimum of College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than one year les than 1 year or equivalent experience. Further the experience can be a minimum of one year to less then two. This business is retail & a gas bar. A criminal record check will be required.  Parking is free & available.  NOC 62010.

Tasks of the Sales Supervisor – Retail will be:

·        Assign sales workers to duties

·        Hire and train or arrange for training of staff

·        Order merchandise

·        Authorize return of merchandise

·        Establish work schedules

·        Sell merchandise

·        Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

·        Organize and maintain inventory

·        Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages

·        Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
