Job Overview
Ricardos Convenience is seeking a motivated and organized Retail store supervisor to oversee daily operations at our Digby location. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising staff, managing inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate activities of staff members
Hire, train, and arrange training for staff
Authorize payments by cheque
Plan and develop permanent, temporary, or moveable exhibits and displays for exhibitions, trade shows, retail spaces, and other events
Order merchandise and maintain inventory
Establish work schedules and conduct performance reviews
Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
Resolve operational and customer-related issues efficiently
Requirements
Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:
7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent oral communication
Client-focused, reliable, and organized
Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Flexibility and team-player attitude
Work Conditions:
On-site work only
Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Attention to detail required
