About the Role:
Digby Convenience is looking for friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associates to join our team. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment helping customers, keeping the store organized, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of our store.
Responsibilities:
Accept cash, cheque, credit card, or automatic debit payments and operate the cash register
Help customers find products and answer their questions
Maintain sales records and assist with inventory control
Assist with displaying merchandise in an appealing way
Operate computerized systems to track and reorder stock
Keep the store clean, organized, and welcoming
Requirements:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
7 months to less than 1 year of work experience
Strong communication and customer service skills
Positive attitude, flexible, and able to multitask
Work Conditions:
Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Attention to detail required
Repetitive tasks may be part of the job
