Job Overview
Ricardos Convenience is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Retail Sales Associates to join our team at the Digby location. The ideal candidates will provide excellent customer service, operate point-of-sale systems, and assist with merchandising and inventory management in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operate cash registers and computerized inventory systems
Assist customers by providing advice about merchandise
Prepare and display merchandise
Conduct sales transactions, including internet-based electronic commerce
Estimate or quote prices, credit terms, warranties, and delivery dates
Greet customers and discuss merchandise or services
Maintain sales records for inventory control
Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental, or lease
Requirements
Education:
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience:
7 months to less than 1 year in a similar retail role
Skills & Abilities:
Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
Client-focused, reliable, and organized
Adaptable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
Work Conditions:
On-site work only
Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
Repetitive tasks may be required
