Glen Construction Ltd. located in Vancouver, BC is looking for a full time permanent “Construction Supervisor” to join their team as soon as possible.
Job Duties:
Supervising, coordinating & scheduling the activities of construction workers engaged in dry wall installation and roofing.
Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities.
Ensure that all workers know and follow necessary health and safety procedures.
Train or arrange for training of workers.
Co-ordinate with other subcontractors and adjust work schedules accordingly.
Requisition materials and supplies.
Prepare work progress reports on routinely basis.
Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions
Resolve work problems and make good relations with clients for better business.
Read blueprints and drawings
Completion of secondary school is usually required.
2 to 3 years of experience in the trade or in the work area supervised is required.
Salary: $36.50 hourly for 40 Hours per week with benefits as per company policy
