Education Requirement:  Qualification in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management or equivalent experience

Experience Requirement:  3 – 5 years related experience in managing construction projects; experience in multi-family wood frame construction is an asset

Job Description:

You will be required to:

•         Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress

•         Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates

•         Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations and budgets

•         Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control and safety

•         Read blueprint, schemas and drawings

•         Direct the purchase of building materials and equipment

•         Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements

•         Select trade subcontractors and co-ordinate their activities
