Physiotherapist

COMPANY OVERVIEW:
“BACK PAIN PHYSIOTHERAPY & MASSAGE LTD. O/A AWESOME Physiotherapy of
Richmond Hill” in Richmond Hill, ON is now hiring a full-time and permanent ‘Physiotherapist’ to
join our clinic. We are currently looking for a Physiotherapist to work in our clinic and the eligible
candidate will have previous experience working in the position or a similar position.
JOB TITLE: Physiotherapist
LOCATION: 10350 Yonge St, suite Suite 300. Richmond Hill, ON L4C 5K9 (1 Vacancy)
JOB TYPE: Regular
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
SALARY: $45 per hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 35-40 hours/week
WORK SETTING: Medical Clinic

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, mobility, and
functional limitations and determine a physiotherapy diagnosis.
 Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments, including setting short-term
and long-term goals for rehabilitation.
 Administer a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions, such as manual therapy,
exercise prescription, modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation), and functional
training.
 Regularly review and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to
ensure optimal outcomes.
 Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies
for managing and improving their health.
 Advise patients on injury prevention techniques and ergonomic practices to reduce the risk
of future injuries or complications.
 Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as doctors, occupational
therapists, and nurses, to provide comprehensive care and support.
 Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment notes, and progress
reports, in compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
 Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and advancements in physiotherapy,
and engage in ongoing professional development and training.
 Adhere to the regulations and standards set by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
(CPO).

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:

 Completion of Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy.
 Minimum of 1 year to 2 years of experience strongly preferred.
 Certificate of Registration from the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
 Fluent in English and good verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
 Physically demanding, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended
periods and repetitive tasks
 Client-focused with excellent interpersonal skills and oral communication.
