We have Primary Care Pediatrics Clinics that provide routine care and regular immunizations; Pediatric Eye Clinic; Pediatric Cardiology Clinic; Pediatric Allergy Clinic; Pediatric Asthma Clinic; Ear, Nose, Throat (ENT) Clinic; Immunization/Flu Shot Clinic; Travel Clinic; and Foot Clinic, and other child hand youth health specialization.

Specific Skills:
Take patients’ blood pressure, temperature and pulse. Weigh, lift, turn and position patients. Maintain inventory of supplies. Collect specimens, Administer first aid in emergency situations. Record and process patient data. Assist in the preparation and administration of examinations. Analyze the patient during the treatments. Assist during assessment of patients and carry out treatment programs and develop materials for use with patient. Schedule appointments and providing financial counselling. Provide departmental administration of clinic appointment resources, supporting clinicians by making patients and consultation rooms. Assist doctors during the treatment and examination of patients. Assist in reporting or analysing of department’s or clinic’s reports and data. Prepare patients’ records and documentation and procedures. Meet with patients to assess their progress, give support and discuss any difficulties or problems. Accepts referrals that meet eligibility criteria from the inpatient, outpatient, and urgent care clinic programs. Engages patient and families by quickly establishing therapeutic rapport. Facilitates the initial meeting with the patient and new service provider. Approaches patient care with a culturally sensitive, stigma-free and trauma informed lens. Establish and maintain professional alliances with collaborating agencies. Ensure that administrative duties are completed within required timeframes, such as shift and incident reports.
Credentials:
First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate
