Duties:
· Production of gelato flavours, gelato cakes, gelato pastries following specific recipes;
· Training staff on how to prepare various products served in the restaurant;
· Setting up gelato display and decorations;
· Manage production scheduling, inventory and ordering;
· Organization of storage and raw ingredients;
· Provide insight and training on Italian culture and food tradition;
· Instruct servers on gelato ingredients, how to serve gelato, Italian desserts served in the restaurant;
· Ensure health and safety in restaurant;
· Train staff on product ingredients, possible allergens and food safety; and
· Schedule and supervise kitchen staff.
Qualifications: Completion of secondary school and more than one year of experience as a Pastry Chef. Knowledge of Italian culture, Italian cuisine, Italian pastries and gelato are an asset.
