Wage: $45.00 per hour + 4% vacation pay
Hours: Full-time, 30 hours per week

Job Description:
New Surrey Car Service Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Motor Vehicle Repair Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our automotive service shop. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of skilled technicians, maintaining inventory, ensuring high-quality customer service, and coordinating all aspects of shop management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage a team of automotive technicians and support staff.
• Oversee the scheduling and allocation of work to technicians.
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies.
• Ensure that all automotive services are performed efficiently and in compliance with safety standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve service-related issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure that the shop operates within budget and meets financial goals.
• Manage day-to-day administrative tasks such as payroll, employee records, and other operational duties.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:
• Education: A high school diploma is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automotive shop or service center, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role preferred.

Skills and Abilities:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of automotive repair processes and equipment.
• Ability to manage inventory and control costs.
• Proficiency in using shop management software.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
