Medical Administrative Assistant

We are looking for a Medical administrative assistant to join our fast paced clinic located in Richmond hill, ON. The ideal candidate is well organized, highly motivated and able to work in a fast paced environment. Attention to detail is important. A positive attitude and approachable personality is needed in dealing with patients. The successful candidate must be a team player who is flexible, willing to contribute and assist where needed. Good judgement and decision making skills is crucial. Communication is important demonstrating tact, courtesy and professionalism at all times.

Salary: $34,650/year

Interview patients to obtain case histories, Schedule and confirm appointments, Maintain filing system, Perform general clerical work, such as order supplies and maintain inventory, Determine and establish office procedures and routines, Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review, Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records, Prepare draft agendas for meetings and take, transcribe and distribute minutes, Supervise and train other staff in procedures and in use of current software
