Description:
-Operate trucks to deliver long haul loads working as team drivers.
-Plan trip logistics and prepare documentation for transportation of goods and record trip details.
-Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, brakes and cold storage
-Ensure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety regulations.
-Communicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices.
-May perform emergency roadside repairs.
-Administer bills of lading and manually or electronically maintain log books.
-May drive as part of a two-person team or convoy.
-Other related duties as required.
Skills:
-Completion of Secondary School Education.
-On-the-job-training is provided.
-Willing to work as a team across Canada and U.S.A.
-Should be able to communicate in English.
Credentials:
-Class 1 Driving License (Semi Truck).
-Air Brake Endorsement.
Wages: $ 27.50/hr for 50hrs/week
