Bonnyville Neighbourhood Inn is looking for the right individual(s) to join our kitchen team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
*MUST be legally authorized to work in Canada*
*Fluent in English
*High school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
*WHMIS (if you do not have your WHMIS, we provide this training)
*Food Safety Certificate, or equivalent
*2 years experience in full-service restaurant is desired
*Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients and equipment
*Flexible schedule and the ability to work a variety of shifts including opening, closing, weekends and holidays as scheduled
*Team player
*Ability to remain calm under pressure
*Criminal record check
RESPONSIBILITES
*Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
*Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
*Inspect kitchens and food service areas
*Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
*Clean kitchen and work areas
*Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
*Establish methods to meet work schedules
*Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
*Ensure food service and quality control
*Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
* Attention to detail
*Fast-paced environment
*Handling heavy loads
*Physically demanding
*Repetitive tasks
*Standing for extended periods
*Work under pressure
*Bending, crouching, kneeling

Salary: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
