Junior Marketing and Communications Coordinator supports and executes the development of PureSpirIT’s brand, marketing & communications strategies. This role works in close collaboration with other departments to build: ROI driven, customer-focused and data-driven marketing programs. This role will help PureSpirIT evolve marketing investments into a sales engine for capturing new business from the install-base and prospective customers. Junior Marketing and Communications Coordinator is a Brand Champion, playing a vital role in bringing PureSpirIT’s evolving brand “to life” through traditional and emerging vehicles, with an eye to best practices.

Responsibilities / Activities
Marketing & Communications
- Development of Objectives and Key Results (OKR’s) for annual/quarterly Marketing activities in collaboration with the VP of Sales and COO.
- Creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance PureSpirIT Solutions image and position within the marketplace.
- Identify the most effective communication channels to reach relevant target groups and help to feed these channels with the appropriate messaging.
- Strategize and implement paid and organic campaigns leveraging both traditional (collateral, print advertising) and digital marketing tactics (social media, digital advertising, website, Teams & email communications).
- Update and evolve PureSpirIT’s web-site and social media platforms, drive content and grow visitor’s metrics.
- Support brand development with external partners.
- Ensure that brand identity, messaging and marketing strategy are infused in all organizational efforts.
- Generate compelling, engaging content to support content-driven integrated strategy, working with internal subject matter experts.
- Develop and/or manage marketing communications for launches, campaigns, and events.
- Build and maintain positive public relations.
- Create and manage annual marketing and communications budget to meet growing internal and go-to-market partner requirements, in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Monitor marketing and communications success and ROI analytics.
- Report quarterly to the team on metrics and performance of marketing and communications plans.
- Monitor competition, conducting frequent competitor and market research.
- Stay up to date on all trends regarding new technologies and applications on the market.
- Plan, direct, and coordinate marketing and communications policies.
- Ensure necessary training is provided on marketing policies, advertising strategies, and other marketing resources.
- Define event sponsorship and award strategy and integration across b2b events, awards and industry memberships.
- Promote the company’s brand, attract visitors and potential leads from the company’s website
- Other marketing and communications duties, as assigned.
Customer Event Management
- Support planning, executing, and handling all aspects of customer focused events, including coordination of logistics such as equipment, promotions, catering, presentations, marketing materials, promotional giveaways, etc.
- Track ROI from each event.
- Create marketing business plans to justify marketing investments from key manufacturers.
- Manage marketing campaign/event financials working with Finance and other departments.

Skills and attributes:
- Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or related field
- 1+ years experience in a similar role
- Experience in content management, creative writing, and advertising
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, design tools such as Illustrator and WordPress
- Design skills is an asset
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- A firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to lead and participate in project teams, team player
- Quick learner and strategic thinker
- Strong writing and communication skills, including copywriting and proof reading
- Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
- Ability to comprehend and interpret competitor strategies and target audience behaviour
