POSITION: Full-time IGR Executive Assistant
LOCATION: K’ómoks Administration Building
DEPARTMENT: Intergovernmental Relations
REPORTS TO: Director of Intergovernmental Relations
SALARY RANGE: $28-32/hour (based on 35 hour work week)

We’re on the lookout for a detail-oriented and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Director of Intergovernmental Relations. This is a dynamic role where organization, communication, and cultural awareness come together to help shape the future of K’ómoks First Nation as we engage with governments, communities, and partners.

What You’ll Do:
Be the organizational heartbeat of the IGR department!
Coordinate calendars, meetings, travel, and events
Manage records, invoices, and financial tracking
Draft policies, letters, and Band Council Resolutions
Act as a key point of contact in the Director’s absence
Assist with special projects and archaeological monitor scheduling
Support community engagement efforts and communications
What You Bring:
· A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
· 1–2 years of experience in an administrative or executive support role
· Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
· Cultural awareness and familiarity with First Nations governance in BC
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
· A collaborative, community-minded approach and willingness to grow
