Indigenous Initiatives Administrator

Role: Indigenous Initiatives Administrator

Length: 6 Month Contract (Potential for Extension)

Location: Toronto

Rate: $25/hour

 

Your new company

We are seeking an Administrator, Indigenous Initiatives, to join their team on a 6-month contract. This position is full-time hours, and fully in office Monday-Friday, with the flexibility for hybrid work.

 

Your new role

Provide administrative assistance in support of initiatives, programs, processes and projects
You will be managing calendars, setting up engagement appointments and coordinating meetings.
Preparation, review, processing and distribution of correspondence, meeting minutes, presentations and reports.
Prepares and processes various documents and data
Drafts correspondence, composes communications
Monitor and update /database
Ensures that the tracking and following up of requests is maintained
Proofread documents
Assist in the development and implementation of new tools and procedures for improvement

 

What you’ll need to succeed

2 years of experience of administrative experience
Candidates who self-identify as indigenous are strongly encouraged to apply.
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality
