Position: Permanent full time position
Shifts: Day, Early Morning, Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning, Night, Weekend

Wage: $ 25-$27 hourly (To be negotiated)/ 30 hours per week
Tasks:
– Supervise and coordinate the work of light duty, industrial or specialized cleaners and janitors
– Inspect sites or facilities to ensure established safety and cleanliness standards are met
– Recommend or arrange for additional services required such as painting, repair work, renovations or replacement of furnishings and equipment
– Hire and train cleaning staff
– Prepare work schedule and coordinate activities with those of other departments
– Prepare budget, estimate costs and keep financial records
– Receive payment for specialized cleaning jobs
– May perform certain cleaning duties.
– Schedule and assign duties of housekeeping staff
– Establish and implement operational procedures for housekeeping department
– Plan and co-ordinate activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews
– Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met
Supervise staff
– Co-ordinate inspection of assigned areas
– Respond to complaints of guests
– Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment and uniforms
Language: English
Education: Secondary (high)school graduation certificate or equivalent
Experience: 7 months to less than a year
Work Setting: Hotel, motel, resort
Supervision: 5-10 people
