Responsibilities:
• Operate grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment to cook food items to the appropriate temperature and doneness while maintaining food safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of grill station ingredients such as meat, cheese, buns, and condiments and inform management when supplies need to be replenished.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the grill area, including regularly cleaning equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen and timely preparation of orders during peak hours.
• Handle multiple orders simultaneously and manage cooking times to ensure that food is prepared and served promptly.
• Train new employees on grill station procedures and safety protocols as required.
• Perform daily food preparation tasks by chopping, slicing, and dicing various foods and ingredients.
• Prepare meals according to customer specifications.
• Utilize problem-solving skills to address customer complaints.
• Monitoring online orders, grilling items as per orders, and properly packing for pickup or delivery.
