services related to the business. We are currently looking for a qualified, experienced
and professional “Glazier Helper” to join our team. As a “Glazier helper” you will be
working closely with the other staff and will be helping in installation, maintenance and
repair of glass.
JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Glazier helper (1 Vacancy)
JOB LOCATION: 20 Vice Regent Blvd #2, Etobicoke, ON M9W 7A4
TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: Regular; Permanent; Full time
ANTISIPATED START TIME: As soon as possible
SALARY: $29.00 per hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 30 to 35 hours/week
WORK SETTING: Manufacturing and installation
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cleaning and setting up work areas, ensuring that everything is organized and
ready for the installation or repair work.
Assist in handling and transporting glass panels, frames, and other materials to
and from job sites.
Help measure glass and cut it to size according to specifications. Might involve
using specialized tools and equipment.
Help position and secure glass panels, ensuring they are properly aligned and
fitted.
Clean up the site, disposing of any debris or waste materials and ensuring the
area is left in a clean and safe condition after the work is completed.
Help in maintaining and organizing tools and equipment used in the glazing
process, ensuring everything is in good working condition.
Following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment to ensure a
safe working environment is crucial.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of Secondary School is required
Should be able to handle up to 23kg weight
Must have his own steel-toed safety boots
Previous experience using Gauges, micrometers, calipers, caliber and Vernier
tools is preferred
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented multi-tasking environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of confidentiality,
integrity, ethics and professionalism and should be fluent in English
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented multi-tasking environment
Ability to work independently, flexible, good time management, organizational,
good teamwork and Interpersonal Skills.
