With a long history of being in the business, including restaurants such as Barolo and Il Mulino, Carisma offers the same authentic Italian food and quality service they are known and loved for.

At this time, we are looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Front of House Supervisor to coordinate to work of the serving team – servers, hosts, bartenders, sommeliers and bussers.
Duties will include:
– Supervise, co-ordinate and assign the work of the serving team
– Establish work schedules and procedures for the serving team
– Maintain staff discipline and conduct in strict accordance with Restaurant policies and procedures
– Ensure established standards of cleanliness and sanitation are being met, as well as execute daily and weekly cleaning projects.
– Ensure opening and/or closing duties are completed efficiently and thoroughly including closing the register for the night (printing POS-terminal reports and reconciling cash)
– Ensure proper staffing for maximum productivity and high standards of client service
– Conduct training of serving team on job duties and safety procedures
– May participate in the selection of serving staff
– May budget labour cost of the serving team
– Support all levels of service with an aim to foster long-term guest relationships
– Ensure that service meets quality control standards
Position Requirements:
– Secondary school diploma
– At least 1 year as a Front of House Supervisor or similar role
– College diploma in food service administration, hotel, and restaurant management, or related discipline is an asset
– Good English language skills
Compensation & Conditions:
– Permanent, full-time position
– $17.00 per hour with applicable overtime pay after 44 hours of work per week
– 35 hours of work per week
Be ready to work shifts consisting of mornings, afternoons and evenings.
