JOB TYPE: Regular
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
SALARY: $17.00 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 35 – 40 hours/Week
WORK SETTING: Restaurant
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise, co-ordinate and create work schedules of part-time and full- time kitchen as well as support staff.
Appropriately estimate and order ingredients and food supplies required for meal preparation.
Ensure the process of meal preparation strictly, to observe relevant health and safety regulations as well as meet quality control standards set by the company.
Training staff as per their job duties and in sanitation and safety procedures, to maintain quality in the best interest of the guests and restaurant.
Prepare and submit reports for inventory, sales, pay outs etc. to the manager on a day-to-day basis.
Satisfactorily answer and handle routine customer questions, inquiries and complaints. Escalate customer complaints to the manager if required.
Assisting the Manager in recruiting new staff along with providing training in their respective job duties and health and safety procedures.
Supervise and coordinate day to day management and business operation.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Secondary School Graduation certificate
7 months to 1 year of experience strongly preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding, team-oriented, multi-tasking environment, good time management, and Interpersonal Skills.
Ability to supervisor 5-10 people
Fluent in English and flexibility to work different shifts and weekends.
