Food service supervisor

Location 2: 535 Main Street W, Palmerston, ON, N0G 2P0
Salary: 17.00 to 19.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per Week
Term: Permanent employment; Full time
Start date: As soon as possible

Job requirements:
Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people, 5-10 people, Kitchen and food service helpers
Work site environment: Noisy
Work setting: Coffee shop
Responsibilities:
Tasks:
– Establish methods to meet work schedules
– Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
– Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
– Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
– Ensure food service and quality control
– Address customers’ complaints or concerns
– Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
– Prepare and submit reports
– Supervise and check the delivery of food trolleys
– Establish work schedules
