JOB TITLE: Food Service Supervisor
LOCATION: 188 A Barton St. E. unit # 1, Stoney Creek, ON Canada L8E 4W3 (1 Vacancy).
JOB TYPE: Regular
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time
ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
SALARY: $17.50 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 35 to 40 hours/Week
WORK SETTING: Fast Food Restaurant
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervise team members for preparation, packaging, and delivery of food to the customers.
Establish work schedules and delegate tasks to each member of the team for day-to-day operations.
Run the floor in a timely and smooth fashion by managing shift worker
Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required
Do various computer tasks that involve ordering inventory, time keeping of shift workers etc.
Keep a track of supplies and ingredients and order the same as required
Participate in the hiring, training of the staff and assist with the development of team members
Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards (health and safety)
Inspect kitchen and food service areas
Address the customer’s complaints and concerns in a courteous manner ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Some Secondary (high) School Graduation certificate
Minimum 7 months to 1 year of experience strongly preferred
Ability to supervisor 5 to 10 people
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented multi-tasking environment
Fluent in English and excellent Communication skills
Ability to work independently, flexible, good time management, organizational, good team work and Interpersonal Skills.
Excellent decision making and problem solving
