CURRENT HIRING
We are currently looking for 5 experienced Food Processing Quality Control Technicians to join our team! The ideal candidates would have years of hands-on experience in ensuring excellence within various food and beverage processing lines.
JOB DUTIES
• Ensure that procedures for inspecting and approving of materials, in-process, finished product and packaging materials
• Conduct eye-test of all products and ensure they pass established specifications
• Monitor and document all practices and ensure records and file logs are updated accordingly
• Assist in proper maintenance and calibration of equipment
• Help in monitoring day-to-day activities and ensure that facility, production personnel, and equipment are up to standards
• Prepare and submit production reports to management
• Ensure proper methods and procedures are being used and that quality, safety, environment standards are being met
• May train new workers and supervise, if needed
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
• Secondary Diploma
• At least 2 years of quality control/quality assurance experience in the processing/manufacturing industry with excellent understanding of food and beverage products
• Excellent understanding of Kosher standards
• Good English language skills
• Ability to work under pressure
BENEFITS AND SALARY
• Permanent, Full-time position
• $24.31 per hour for 30-40 hours per week
• Overtime may be required at $36.47 after 44 hours per week
