Location: 17 Edvac Drive Brampton, ON Canada L6S 5X8
Status: Regular; Permanent; Full-time (1 Vacancy)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: $34.00 per hour
Hours: 35 hours/Week
Work Setting: Manufacturing company.

Job Duties
Responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining electrical systems in the machines and ensuring they operate efficiently and safely.
Repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning electrical components such as motors, switches, circuit brakes and control panels to ensure the proper functioning of the machining equipment.
Assist in inspection, testing and evaluating the incoming machining equipment to ensure compliance with product requirements and tolerance.
Work closely with the team to initiate burn-in tests and analyze the recorded date to identify any abnormalities, failures, or performance issues.
Conduct electrical maintenance procedures, calibrate electronic equipment in machines according to the technical manuals, and ensure it does not affect production.
Maintain accurate records of inspection data, maintenance reports, and any modifications made to the electrical system to track history and assist in future troubleshooting.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations to maintain a safe working environment and prevent electrical hazards.

Experience

Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience is required in the position or related position

Education:
College Diploma in related field is required

Fast paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, sitting, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods, Tight Deadlines
Steel-toed safety boots required
Organized, team player, initiative, values and ethics, effective interpersonal skills, client focus, Flexibility, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication and fluent in English
Hands on experience and knowledge of MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Windows
