Responsibilities and Tasks
- Develop programs that support children’s physical, mental, and emotional development.
- Organize educational and fun activities like field trips, storytelling, and singing.
- Assist children in developing daily life skills such as eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
- Supervise, train, and support staff and volunteers.
- Monitor children for signs of learning or behavioral issues and report findings.
- Attend and contribute to staff meetings to discuss the well-being and challenges of children.
- Ensure a safe and healthy environment for all children.
- Promote creative expression through arts, music, and physical activities.
- Collaborate with coworkers and community services to enhance childcare.
- Plan and oversee activities for school-age children before and after school.
