We are looking to add four (4) Drywall Installers to our team as soon as possible. If you have experience in the drywall industry and possess a good attitude, we want to hear from you! Jobs will be within Toronto and GTA.
Terms of employment: Permanent employment/Full time
Salary: 35.40 per hour / 30-40 hours per week
Language: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: 1 year of experience required
Your responsibilities will include:
· Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
· Measure, cut, and fit drywall sheets for residential and commercial installation
· Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
· Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
· Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
· Set up and take down scaffolding as required
· Clean the job site
This job entails:
· Bending, crouching, kneeling
· Hand-eye co-ordination
· Physically demanding
· Repetitive tasks
· Standing for extended periods
