Located just outside Don Mills, near the intersection of York Mills Rd. and Leslie St., What A Bagel at 808 York Mills Rd. is Toronto’s choice bakery & bagel shop for fresh breakfast, lunch, and catering!
At this time, we are looking for a Custodian who will be responsible for all general cleaning duties.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Operate industrial vacuum cleaners
· Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
· Empty trash cans and other waste containers
· Clean kitchen area and workstations
· Sweep, mop, scrub and wax floors throughout the premises
· Clean and disinfect washrooms and fixtures
· Maintain all cleaning equipment and supplies in a safe and sanitary working condition
· Ensure all assigned areas are kept clean and all tasks are completed in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS
· Secondary School Diploma
· At least 6 months of experience as cleaner
· Physical stamina and mobility
· Good English command
WORK CONDITIONS
– Permanent, full-time position
– $20.75 per hour
– 30- 35 hours of work per week
– Occasional overtime may be required and will be compensated at the rate of 1.5 of regular pay after 44 hours of work per week
