– Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
– Cantonese cuisine cooking with wok experience preferred
– Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
– Supervise kitchen prep staff
– May assist with inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
– Manage kitchen operation each shift
– Uphold sanitation and safety standard in the kitchen

Kitchen helpers & Food counter attendants perform some or all of the following duties:
– Greet customers, present menus and answer questions regarding food & beverage
– Take customers’ orders
– Serve food and beverages
– Clear and clean tables and trays in eating areas
– Bring clean dishes, flatware and other items to serving areas and set tables
– Process payments for dine-in, take-out and deliveries
– Clean, peel, slice and trim meat and vegetables
– Portion, assemble and wrap food or place it directly on plates for service to patrons, and package
take-out food
– Use equipment to prepare hot beverages such as Chinese tea and coffee
– Stock refrigerators and freezers and keep records of the quantities of food used
– Wash work tables, cupboards and cooking appliances
– Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers
– Sweep and mop floors, and perform other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff
– Perform other duties such as scraping and stacking dishes, carrying linen to and from laundry area
– Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots and pans using dishwasher
– Place clean dishes in storage area
