Specific Skills
· Prepare and cook entire meals or individuals dishes and foods
· Cook special meals for patients as directed by a dietician or chef
· Supervise kitchen operations and kitchen helpers
· Records of food, supplies and equipment and maintain inventory
· May clean the kitchen and work space
· Oversee and set up buffets
· May prepare menus, determine portion sizes, estimate food requirements and expenses, and monitor and order supplies.
· May hire and train kitchen staff
