Burnaby Mexican Foods Inc. (o/a La Taqueria Pinche Taco Shop) is our newest taco shop located in the Amazing Brentwood Mall in Burnaby BC. We serve various Mexican cuisine from classic tacos, quesadillas, burritos. Our dishes are made from traditional recipes with local, organic, and sustainable products. We are now hiring an experienced full-time Cook.

Position: Full-time Cook

Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
– Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
– Train and monitor kitchen helpers to properly assist cooks and the chef.
– Supervise overall kitchen operations.
– Determine size of food portions being served to customers.
– Ensure the inventory is filled up with sufficient supplies, food, and equipment.
– Contact the suppliers to order food supplies if needed.
– Maintain general hygiene of kitchen and other work areas.
– May plan menus such as seasonal menus in accordance with our guidelines.
Requirement:
– Completion of secondary school.
– 2+ years of cooking experience in restaurants are required.
Wage: $18.00 – $19.00 per hour.
Working Condition: 30-40 hours a week.
Benefit: 4% from gross income for paid vacation per year.
