Salary: $16.55 per hour
Hours: 30 to 35 hours/Week
Work Setting: Restaurant
Job Description: This Position requires to perform the following duties and responsibilities:
Prepare and Cook complete meal as per the orders placed by individuals
Supervise Kitchen staff and other helpers and inspect Kitchen and food service area on regular basis
Setting up, cleaning and organizing workstations and ensure that workstations are sanitized, and utensils are clean
Training other Cook to operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner and helping them whenever needed
Give every customer immediate and undivided attention and ensure that each guest order has the correct food and sides
Ensure that production is done using correct measuring devices, and all recipes are accurately followed
Schedule and Train staff members in Preparation, cooking and handling the food
Ensure that food quality, quantity, freshness, and presentation according to Restaurant’s specification and adhere to safe work practices
Document waste and spoilage and maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Qualification and Professional Skills requirement:
Experience
7 months 1 year of experience
Education
Secondary School Education
Skills
Previous restaurant experience in a fine dining property
Flexibility to work a variety shifts and Candidates must be available to workdays, evenings, weekends and holidays, as business requires.
Superior Customer Service skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented multi-tasking environment
