Offering authentic Mexican tacos in the heart of Downtown Vancouver. We make our tacos from traditional recipes with local, organic, and sustainable products, now, we are looking to hire experienced Cooks and I would like to look for friendly staff, who can give our customers an amazing experience.

Vacancy: 2
Wage: $20.00 ~ $23.00 per hour.
Working Condition: 35 – 40 hours a week.
Working (Business) Location: 322 W Hastings St, Vancouver, British Columbia V6B 1K6.
Responsibilities:
– Set up a workstation with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment.
– Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat and etc.)
– Cook complete various foods according to our recipe.
– Check food while cooking to stir or turn.
– Check the quality of ingredients.
– Order or receive food supplies after selecting the best qualities.
– Ensure all food meets food safety and quality standards.
– Work with specialized equipment such as deep-fryer, oven, grill etc.
– Clean kitchen and work area.
– May schedule and/or train kitchen helpers.
Requirement:
– Completion of secondary school.
– 2+ years of commercial cooking experience is required.
Preference:
– Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, boiling and so on.)
– Diploma from a culinary school will be an advantage.
