Job Description:

The Deveraux Group of Companies is a leading organization in property development and management, consisting of Deveraux Asset Management, Deveraux Apartment Communities, and Deveraux Developments.   Deveraux Developments is seeking a skilled and motivated Construction Superintendent to join our expanding team in Calgary.  With a secured five-year pipeline of projects across Western Canada, this opportunity offers strong future prospects. You will be required to:

•         Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones and monitor progress against established schedules

•         Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to verify workmanship, identify defects, and implement corrective measures.

•         Read blueprint, schemas and drawings

•         Represent company on matters such as business services and union contracts negotiation

•         Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to clients

•         Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors

•         Ensure on-site safety
