Position Overview:
Irenic Steel & Drywall is looking for an experienced Construction Manager (NOC 70010) to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will manage construction projects across various locations, ensuring they are completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients
• Conduct regular site inspections and maintain accurate project documentation
• Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is usually required
• Considerable experience in the construction industry may substitute for post-secondary education requirements
• Minimum of several years of relevant experience in construction management is usually required
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Compensation:
• Wage: $44.71 per hour
• Hours: 8 hours per day; 40 hours per week
• Vacation: 10 days vacation pay per year
