ABOUT THE POSITION
At this time, we are looking for a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team, who will assist and perform labouring activities at construction sites. The successful candidate will perform the following duties:
· Load and unload construction materials, and move materials to work areas
· Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks required at construction and renovation sites
· Mix, pour and spread dry construction materials
· Assist construction and renovation staff in their activities
· Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
· Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, compressors and pumps
· Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Experience as a general construction worker as an asset
· Education is an asset
· Must be able to work outdoors and in changing weather conditions
· Team player, client focused and flexible
· Work in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to handle heavy loads as work is physically demanding
· Good English skills
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
· Permanent, full-time position
· $25.00 per hour for a 30-35 hours of work per week
· Overtime pay applies after 44 hours of work per week
