Speedy Concrete Ltd, located at 11615 Eburne Way, Richmond, BC V6V 2M1, Canada, is seeking to hire 1 full-time Concrete Plant Operator to join our team. This is a permanent position with a wage of $37.00 per hour for 40 hours per week. The successful candidate must have a secondary (high school graduation) certificate or equivalent experience and be able to communicate in English. Previous experience is considered an asset. The role requires the ability to work on-site with shifts including early morning, morning, day, evening, and overtime as required.
Tasks responsibilities:
The Concrete Plant Operator will be responsible for recording manufacturing information, including the quantity, size, and type of goods produced. Duties include setting up, adjusting, and operating single-function machines used for mixing, drilling, grinding, and cutting concrete according to specified requirements. The role also involves conducting quality control checks, preparing and mixing slip, filling moulds with concrete, and removing castings from moulds.
In addition, the employee will handle the movement of products using equipment such as forklifts, cranes, or hydraulic hoists. The position requires performing ongoing machine adjustments, as well as carrying out visual inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
