Salary: $27.66 to $29.90 hourly (to be negotiated) / 40 hours per Week

Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time, Day, Overtime

Responsibilities

Tasks

·         Read and interpret blueprints

·         Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations

·         Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)

·         Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpiece into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions

·         Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery

·         Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools

·         Clean and maintain work space

 

Job Duties

·         Programming and Operating CNC Plasma Table

·         Organize and cut plate per drawings and project requirements

·         Inspect finished products to ensure quality control of cut material

·         Part clean up, labelling, packaging complete orders

·         Report to Shop foreman and Operations Manager of complete orders.

·         Perform preventative equipment maintenance of CNC machine

·         Manage raw material inventory and ensure material is stocked correctly

·         Always carry out tasks in a safe and conscientious manner

·         Operate forklift to handle in and out of the shop and in the yard

·         Load and unload trucks of complete orders

·         Operate band saw, chop saw, and various hand tools as required

·         Complete other tasks as necessary to help meet the goals of the organization
