Responsibilities:
· Analyse specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and plan operating sequences.
· Ensure that measurements are taken accurately and determine the materials for cutting or shaping.
· Maintain inspection reports that highlight any deviations from the specified dimensions or tolerances.
· Identify suitable machines, load materials, and adjust machine size and speed.
· Observe machinery in operation, adjust the temperature, and identify problems.
· Inspect machine output for conformity with standards, remove defects, and keep records on acceptable products.
· Communicate logistics issues that arise during the process.
· Ensure all safety and company protocols are met during the process.
· Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the functions correctly.
