Tasks:
– As a Front Desk Clerk at Stony Plains Inn & Suites, you will be welcoming guests, verifying their reservations, and providing them with keys and relevant information upon check-in.
– During check-out, you will handle payment processing, review the final bill, and assist guests with any inquiries or requests.
– You will be handling incoming reservation inquiries, ensuring accuracy of guest information, and updating the reservation system accordingly. This includes managing room availability, assigning rooms to guests, and coordinating with other departments to meet guest preferences or special requests.
– Serving as a point of contact for guests, you will answer their queries, provide information about the hotel’s facilities, services, and local attractions. Additionally, you may assist with arranging transportation, making restaurant reservations, or addressing any concerns or complaints.
– Performing various administrative duties, such as maintaining guest records, processing payments, balancing cash drawers, and completing necessary paperwork.
– You may also be responsible for updating and managing the hotel’s database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
– Effectively communicating with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and management, to ensure a seamless guest experience. This involves relaying guest requests, coordinating room availability, and addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
– Maintaining a secure environment by following hotel procedures, including verifying guest identities, issuing room keys securely, and monitoring security cameras or systems. Promptly reporting any suspicious activities or safety concerns to the appropriate authorities or management.
– Being proactive in identifying and resolving issues that may arise during a guest’s stay, such as maintenance requests, billing discrepancies, or guest complaints.
– Prepare reports for Manager regarding check-ins, check-outs, housekeeping, and other guest services at the end of shift; Report Manager immediately about any unusual events, accidents, and security issues.
