Hourly Rate: CAD 19 – 22

QUALIFICATIONS

To drive strong caregiving outcomes, you must have one of these;

Secondary school completion or equivalent experience.
1–2 years of childcare experience
Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, solutions-driven work style.
Ability to work independently while maintaining professional discretion.
First Aid/CPR certification (an asset).
Language requirement: English

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Your primary duties are those typically associated with the position Childcare Provider. You will perform below duties as may be assigned to you.

Ensure the child’s safety at all times, both indoors and outdoors.
Monitor activities to prevent accidents and respond immediately to emergencies.
Maintain a secure and child-friendly environment.
Assist with daily hygiene routines, including bathing, dressing, and toilet training as needed.
Prepare healthy meals and snacks according to dietary needs and household preferences.
Administer medications if required, following explicit instructions from the employer.
Plan and supervise age-appropriate learning activities that support cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Encourage creativity, problem-solving, and skill-building through structured play and
interactive activities.
Facilitate outdoor play and physical activity to promote health and development.
Support daily routines such as waking, bedtime, nap times, and school preparation.
Transport the child to and from school, appointments, or extracurricular activities, if applicable.
Maintain records of daily activities, meals, and progress notes for parental review.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of areas used by the child, including play areas and
personal belongings.
Communicate regularly with the employer regarding the child’s well-being, progress, or
concerns.
Follow household rules and guidelines, maintaining professionalism and discretion.
Respond calmly and effectively to medical or safety emergencies.
Maintain knowledge of first aid, CPR, and emergency protocols.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

All activities occur within our private residence.

delivery.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Hourly wage: $19 – 22 CAD
Overtime paid according to ON Employment Standards.
Vacation pay and statutory holidays as mandated.
