Child caregiver – private home
Roles and Responsibilities:
· Supervise and provide care for the children
· Take responsibility of the household in the parents’ absence
· Bathe, dress and feed the children
· Prepare and serve meals according to parental instructions
· Instruct and encourage personal hygiene habits
· Provide a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment
· Take the children to and from school and appointments
· Provide age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
· Discipline the children according to the methods requested by the parents
· Maintain records of children’s daily activities and health information if requested
Requirements:
· 1 to 7 months of experience
· Experience with both toddler and school-age children
· Completion of secondary school
· Must be reliable and able to care for children with kindness and patience
· Demonstrate good judgement and organizational skills
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Be available to work flexible shifts (early morning, morning, day, evening, weekends)
Work conditions:
· Physically demanding
· Repetitive tasks
