ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible
SALARY: $20.00 per Hour
HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 30 to 35 Hours/Week
WORK SETTING: In-home/Employer’s home
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide supervision and care for children in the employer's residence in absence of parents.
Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding children.
Plan, prepare, and serve meals for children and may undertake additional household tasks.
Follow the parent’s instructions to oversee children's daily routines, including meals and rest
periods along with maintaining a safe and nurturing environment within the home.
Keep records of daily activities and maintain health information as required.
Attend to the emotional well-being of children and support their social development.
Teach children about personal hygiene practices and administer discipline to children in
accordance with the parents' specified methods.
Offer age-appropriate educational guidance through organized activities, such as games,
crafts, reading, and outings.
PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Secondary School graduation required.
Experience in similar position would be an asset.
Fluent in English and excellent verbal communication skills and high level of confidentiality,
integrity, ethics, and professionalism.
Overtime maybe required sometimes, and position could be physically demanding.
Good time management skills, client focus, flexibility, organized, reliable and excellent
interpersonal skills.
Knowing other languages would be an asset.
